My friends and I are talking about a weekend trip to Gatlinburg and I remembered seeing this house last year on Spring Break.  It will NOT be my pick for a vacation rental this year...or any year...by the way!

This house was seriously on very tall 'stilts'...and even the driveway (which isn't pictured) was on some sort of 'stilts.' On top of that, it was located HIGH up on Ski Mountain on a very curvy road.

I don't think I'd feel very safe or comfortable in this cabin...but I'd say the view from the deck overlooking the mountains and valley would be spectacular.

I think we'll choose something with a foundation a little closer to Mother Earth...otherwise...that "first step is a doozy!!"   :)
